Support Geisinger Nurses

As registered nurses at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, we are proud of our hospital's growth, success, and reputation for delivering the highest quality of care for our patients.

As our hospital and health system grows, registered nurses can't be left behind.

During our union contract negotiations, our top priority is ensuring that our hospital continues to provide the best possible care for our patients and the highest professional standards for nurses.

For Our Patients and Our Community:Sign this petition and send a message to Dr. Glenn Steele, CEO of Geisinger Health System in support of nurses at Geisinger Wyoming Valley.
GWV Nurses are Working Together to:

Improve Quality Patient Care
by setting minimum safe nurse-to-patient ratios based on acuity and ending unsafe practices such as mandatory overtime.

Create an Environment that Values Nurses and Our Profession. A mutually respectful relationship with management and physicians, education, mentorship programs, wages and benefits should reflect our hospital’s vision of “Quality, Value, Partnership, and Advocacy” and recognize the important role that nurses play in the delivery of quality hospital care.

Gain an Effective Voice for Nurses. We’re united for full union security and other provisions that ensure our union is a strong organization and nurses have an effective voice in decisions that impact our patients and our profession.
