On Monday, April 1st, our union, community health nurses and a group of legislators filed a lawsuit against the Corbett Administration to prevent the closure of 26 public centers and the elimination of 73 Department of Health positions including 26 community health nurses.
Although Corbett's proposed plan offers modest increases in education, healthcare, transportation, and senior services, in reality, these inadequate investments would come at the expense of good, middle class jobs for our Commonwealth.
